chapbook update

i will be self-publishing (with printing via newspaper club) a chapbook titled ‘to live & die in qaqortoq.’ it’s currently maybe 95% complete. i’m hoping to have it printed by the middle of may and will be selling it here via paypal as well as trying to shop that shit around some places. you can read different information about the chapbook by clicking ‘qaqortoq’ on my site. (my site is linked above as ‘here’ as well as in the sidebar as ‘main’ but, for a reason i don’t know, tumblr won’t let me link directly to the uh ‘qaqortoq’ page.)
contact with inquiries, etc., by emailing: atcolv[at]gmail[dot]com (or by clicking ‘contact’ in the sidebar)

Snowmobile
Someone wanted me to say what there was.
I said, “There is a small forest. It is dense and cold.”
I reflect cold reasoning and tics of The Fiction Issue.
I order my finger with an iron fist.
SSRIs allow me to feel like a claustrophobe.
I’m still on that perceptual question. Where is my goddamn consciousness?
It moves shakily, facilitated by a Steadicam operator
with limbs like sovereign nations.
That person is trying her best, to be sure.
“Come back and set me into my eyes.”
She won’t listen. When I turn she nudges me.
“Prison ain’t the easiest place to think,”
a longer sound forms fifteen feet from my eardrum.
